The EC-Series is a cost oriented type Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with excellent performance and easy operability.

With the high performance of the E-series contained in a compact body, the EC-series can meet the needs of small-scale control in factory automation. The EC provides flexibility - relay or transistor output - sinking or sourcing inputs. High function types can be linked with other stations by the on-board RS-485 port. 60 models to choose from!

I/O points available are 20, 28, 40, and 60, satisfying the requirements of various uses and scales. All models occupy the same small footprint (170mmW X 75mmH X 80mmD), making this unit ideal for OEM applications.

Programming is accomplished via any of three hand-held programmers - common to the E/EB/EM-series family, or by (IBM)PC software available in DOS or WIN95/NT IEC1131-3 compliant versions.
