REPLACING BATTERY
It is recommend to replace the battery with a new one every year on critical equipment. Or, every two years on an important, but "not critical" machine, even if a battery error is not indicated. Although the modern Lithium battery may very well last up to 10 years, it is important to have PLC Battery relacement on a yearly or semi-yearly schedule, otherwise they are easily forgotten until it is too late.
